Applications Installed by Default

Yellow Dog Linux v6.x Default Application Set

Updating and Installing Additional Applications

You may use the command line yum, the graphical Add/Remove Software is used to install additional applications from the YDL Install DVD, or Pup (replacement for Up2Date) to update instlalled applications. These may be apps built for KDE open_in_new, apps built for Gnome or the myriad of applications that are available from repositories such as Freshmeat open_in_new, FreshRPMS, TuCows open_in_new, and SourceForge open_in_new.
