Fixstars Solutions is a software development company that is devoted to our slogan: "Speed up your Business." Our goal is to optimize and accelerate software for businesses, universities, biologists, military technology and more. We use software parallelization, multi-core processors, and application acceleration to optimize your software and help you save time, money and effort in the process. Our engineers can help your company accomplish its goals, as we can assess and fix any and all performance issues within your software. We have served hundreds of companies, and we look forward to serving many more.
Fixstars Solutions is based out of Irvine, CA, and our customers include The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, US Air Force, US Army, and US Navy, Argonne National Lab, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Toyota, Kioxia, Sony, and Toshiba.

Masana Murase
CEO
As Fixstars Solutions' Chief Executive Officer, Masana is responsible for overseeing the planning, strategy, and execution of the company's sales and revenue growth in North America. Since joining Fixstars in 2012, he has put tremendous effort into promoting multi-core processors through his research and lecture activities. Prior to joining Fixstars, Masana worked as Staff Researcher for IBM Research where he was involved in Cell/B.E. security and high performance computing research projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Media and Governance (Cyber Informatics program) from Keio University.
Takuro Iizuka
CTO
Takuro is the CTO and leads the development team at Fixstars Solutions. He is an expert in designing high performance system architecture, building low layer program on InfiniBand, GPU, FPGA, various AI accelerators and SoCs. He loves his family and exercise!
Israel Imru
Software Engineer
Israel is a Software Engineer at Fixstars Solutions. He primaly handles tasks related to frontend engineering, but will occasionally tackle tasks beyond that. He enjoys typical nerd stuff, such as video games, reading, reading, watching sports, etc.

Shea is a Computer Engineer who has been with Fixstars since 2014. He serves in multiple fields within software engineering, but specializes in lower-level hardware interfacing and backend systems. When he is not playing video games in his free time, he enjoys learning about new technologies.

Robert is a Software Engineer who has worked at Fixstars since 2018. He serves in various roles, but primarily works on data processing and machine learning. He enjoys video games and makes really good chocolate truffles.

Andy is a Software Engineer at Fixstars Solutions. His focus is currently on backend engineering and cloud computing, but he is also experienced with parallel processing for performance optimization. During his free time, he enjoys playing video games and spending time outdoors.

Ryan Pettibone
Software Engineer
Ryan Pettibone is a C/C++/Rust Engineer at Fixstars. He has degrees in computer science, physics, and mathematics, and is excited to bring his unique background to bear on complex engineering challenges. He is thrilled to be working at Fixstars after a number of years as an educator. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys rock climbing, marathon running, and continually learning new things.

Aaron Chang is a software engineer at Fixstars. He specializes in embedded system programming. For his interests outside of work, he likes video games as well as playing piano and guitar.
Justin Collier
Software Engineer
Justin is a software engineer at Fixstars Solutions that specializes in C++ optimization. As a programming language and FOSS enthusiast, Justin spends most of their free time in a Linux VT console writing libraries and configuring systems, and is fascinated with compiletime computation, static testing, zero-cost abstractions, and template meta-programming. Outside of development, Justin enjoys e-biking, onewheeling, hiking, camping, and electronic music.
